Weeks of Sept 21st and 28th

 Sept 28th...

This week completes our first 9 weeks of virtual instruction. Students will be completing the nine weeks by completing various schoology assignments on our last story, The Ransom of Red Chief, by O. Henry. These assignments will be found in their Schoology ELA folders each day.

Week of Sept. 14th-18th

Our Learning Objectives this week:

  • Students will be reading two new texts this week..The Frog and The Mouse...and How They Croaked...The Death of Julius Caesar.
  • Students will reflect and analyze both texts using details from our reading
  • Students will write to specific follow up questions to further understanding of the texts.
  • Students will complete NO RED INK activities throughout the week.

Week of Sept. 8th-Sept.11th

 Objectives for the week:

  • Students will complete a summary writing activity following their TN READY Type Test on our story, All Summer In A Day, during TEAMS class.
  • Students will review and complete a self assessment assignment on their narrative essay writing from last week.
  • Students will complete a Florida Virtual Learning component of Summaries for their independent work on Asynchronous days.
  • All daily assignments will be found in each day's folder.
