TN READY is over for the year. We will continue to read, analyze, discuss, and write with urgency until the end of the school year. We will be completing Steve Jobs Novel this week.
Please ask your student to show you they completed their daily Edmodo assignment each Monday through Thursday. If your student is on Raz Kids, please ask them to show you they are using the program 2-3 times per week for 20-30 minutes.

Students will review all three past writing prompts in the next two weeks as we proceed with readying for the upcoming TNREADY tests in April. The dates at this time are: April 19, 23, 24, 25, 26 and 27.
Students will also complete and review another TNREADY Practice test(multiple choice/paper & pencil). Students are seeing first hand the types of texts and questions they will be tested on. Students are practicing analyzing the texts and questions, test taking strategies, and learning from their mistakes. Passing the TN READY tests will determine entry into Martin Luther King Magnet High School.
Students will also read our class novel on the life of Steve Jobs, Thinking Differently.
