Students will learn the tools of an author's craft (Figurative Language). Students will also learn how we analyze our text with the 5 Magic Words. Students will then begin reading and analyzing our Pam Munez 5 short stories unit. Students will read with the teacher, independently, and in small groups. Students will be assessed with various assignments(quizzes, short reflective writing, TN READY Test type questions.)
Please ask your student to show you that they have completed their daily after school Edmodo review assignment. Assignments are posted each MONDAY, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, & THURSDAY, on Edmodo.
