Our objectives in ELA are:
- Students will read, A Summer In A Day, by Ray Bradbury, with teacher and independent of teacher
- Students will analyze and summarize elements of plot development and setting
- Students will make inferences from the story
- Students will use context clues to understand the meaning of unfamiliar words and terms
- Students will write short answer responses
- Students will write a TN READY type narrative from a provided prompt
- Students will complete a TN READY type test
