Week of March 29th and April 5th

Students will continue reading, We Are The Ships, this week.

This book is about the Negro baseball league and will require assigned independent reading and follow up questions post instruction class time. During class time, students will also be engaged in class discussions, reflective journal writing, read alouds in whole groups and partners(breakout rooms), and TN READY multiple choice type questions.

Connecting the text:

Nashville had a team in the Negro baseball league as well.
